im off to take a journey through 6 countries this november until next february for a trip of a lifetime!  my hope is to find some peace & clarity in life as i’ve tried my hands on different career paths and regrettably have not found the right balance.  but on a lighter note, i’ll also be shopping around for great handmade items to add to our growing collection of designers.  the most important part will be making sure the pieces i pick are crafted by the original designers, not with the hands of an underpaid factory worker.  crucial!

but make no mistake, the shop remains open!  my very best friend and business partner, Manny, will be taking over the orders, updates, shipping, and promotions while im away.  however, i will still have remote access to the business and will be plugging PIECESOFVENUS in South East Asia.  its gonna be awesome!

big apologies for the lack of posting.  i can’t believe its been a month!  we’ve been busy promoting and advertising POV across different avenues, but summer is a real slow time for retail sales.  everyone is now gearing up for the fall season.

i’ve also become involved in creating and writing for a new web magazine.  still in its infancy stage… but will be featuring articles on life, travel, health, food, arts and music.

i’ve just returned from a fabulous time in Vegas and am now enthralled with all Beatles memorabilia, particularly… The Yellow Submarine drawings!

PiecesOfVenus will be part of a fashion photo shoot tomorrow with VCImages in San Jose, California. Photographer, Alan, has graciously invited us to participate and provide images for our website! Models, make up and hair .. oh my! I’m very excited about this prospect. We have two very beautiful women modeling for POV… I can’t wait to see these images!

im so sorry for the lack of posts… i recently relocated back to the San Francisco Bay Area from Los Angeles. and now im in the middle of mayhem, literally. i’ve sold all major furniture (book shelves, dressers, wall units) and have no place to store my things. craigslist and Ikea have come to save the day!

by the end of the week, new items will be featured in POV including dresses by PaperDoll Fashion and pieces from Nicole Giordano. i’ll keep you all posted!

She really has come to her own. Hayden Panettiere, the cheerleader we must save in order to save the world, has had a great run on and off the red carpet. She is one of my new favorite style icons. Did I mention I worked with her in Heroes? What a doll!

Since I was a young girl, I am eternally enamored by Robert Redford’s grace, class, soulful voice, and dashing good looks.
